We are excited to meet you and have you try your 1st CrossFit workout!
We provide traditional CrossFit programming and superior coaching. We take pride in the quality of movement our athletes demonstrate in everyday workouts. We believe that CrossFit, when done correctly, can do amazing things for your overall health, fitness and wellbeing. We modify movements on a daily basis based on the individual needs of that athlete. There are many factors that determine these needs such as the athlete’s current limitations, mobility, injury status, disabilities and skill level. You will work closely with our experienced coach’s to meet your personal goals.
- Our CrossFit coaches are responsible for ensuring that your workout is not easy nor impossible, that your form and range of motion are correct, that your speed and intensity are appropriate, that the exercises and weights are adjusted to your fitness level, and that you have a plan for long-term success.
- We believe that having a specific, measurable goal is the best way to stay motivated and on-track, and we want your goals to be a BIG part of your experience at CrossFit Dragonfire.

Let us answer a few quick questions you may have:
What do I wear? Wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes…nothing fancy required.
What do I need to bring? Just yourself. We have a water fountain onsite but you are welcome to bring your own water.
Can I bring a friend with me? Sure, just let us know so we can plan on giving you both the attention you deserve during your workout.
What am I going to do for my workout? You are going to do what is called our baseline workout. We will get you warmed up and stretched out properly then we will show you the movements that you will do in your workout, also known in the CrossFit world as “wod” which stands for workout of the day. Once we have you moving to your ability level for the movements we will explain the wod and have you go through it at your own pace. We will be with you the entire time during the wod, so nothing to stress about. You will not be lifting any weights in this 1st wod and the movements will be doable!
I am out of shape and don’t know if this will be too hard? We all have to start somewhere and there is no better way than having a great instructor coach you through it. You can choose to push yourself hard during this workout or you can feel it out and take it at a comfortable level. In essence you are the one driving and are in control of how hard your workout is going to be.
How long will it take? Plan on 1 hour for your 1st time here. This will give us time to show you the gym, go through a quick fitness assessment prior to staring movements, show you proper movements, and answer any questions you may have. You are more than welcome to stay and hang out after you are done to get a feel for the gym atmosphere.
